15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
That is a commandment of God.
James 4:17
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
Daniel 12:4
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Believers are often times confused about being under the law versus being under God's Grace. This should help with clarification.
Romans 6:14
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Galatians 2:16
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Romans 3:23
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Ephesians 2:8
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
In other words, it has always been and always will be about God's grace. The law simply meant the law. There is the law of Moses, The U.S.A law, the Chinese law, The Japanese law. A law is for a land of people. That is all that it means to be under the law, now as far as where the confusion comes, the reason why people are confused, from my personal experience back when I was younger in the faith, we as believers know God remains the same, and our conscious is still there for a reason. We twist following our conscious of God with being under the Law. Our sins of not committing murder and the rest of the 10 commandants are on our conscious. We are not under the law but we she should still be 100% Christlike which includes resting on the 7th day, without a Holy reason not to rest that day.
